Disposal information
To protect the environment, empty batteries must not be disposed of in
household waste. Please comply with the relevant waste disposal regulations
or use public collection points.
This product is subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on Used
Electrical and Electronic Equipment and is marked accordingly. Never
dispose of electronic equipment in your household waste. Please
obtain information about your local regulations on the proper disposal
of electrical and electronic products. Proper disposal protects the
environment and human health.
3. Blood pressure information
To determine your blood pressure you need to measure two values:
SYS – The systolic (upper) blood pressure: it is generated when the heart
contracts and the blood is pumped into the blood vessels.
DIA – The diastolic (lower) blood pressure: this is the pressure when the heart
is relaxed and is filling with blood again.
Blood pressure values are displayed in mmHg.
To better evaluate the results, there is a colour trac light system on the left side
of the Veroval
®
duo control that directly describes the results to enable easier
categorisation of the measured value. The World Health Organisation (WHO)
and the International Society of Hypertension (ISH) have developed the following
summary for classifying blood pressure values:
