Magazine Load Status
In the center of the lm holder key there is a cres-
cent-shaped indicator window that shows white when
the magazine is freshly loaded. It gradually changes to
redasthelmiswoundthrough.Anallredindicator
shows that the lmis usedup orthat themagazine
is empty.
Removing Film from the Magazine
When the last frame has been exposed and wound
on, the magazine is blocking the camera for further
release.
Windothelmbyfoldingoutthelmwindingcrank,
and rotating it clockwise until you can feel the lm
leaving the supply spool.
Youcannowwithdrawthelmholderfromthemaga-
zineandremovetheexposedlm.
Film Tab Holder
The end tab of the lm pack can be inserted in the
holder on the back of the magazine as a reminder of
the kind of lm that has been loaded into the mag-
azine.
Film Plane Index
Thelmplaneindexontherighthandsideofthemag-
azinebodyindicatesthepositionofthelmplane to
facilitateaccuratedeterminationofthelm-to-subject
distance , which is very important in close-up photog-
raphy.
