– Using the speed control lever, locate the
governor rod so that the groove for the
toothed rack pin on the flywheel-end in-
jection pump is precisely in the centre
of the mounting hole for the injection
pump in the crankcase; see Fig. 124.
– Check the position of the other grooves
and if necessary reposition the sliding
elements on the governor rod.
– Insert the injection pumps and tighten
them in position.
– For adjusting work, see M 14.50.
Note:
When installing the injection pumps, use
the shim washers at the points from which
they were previously removed. The figure
stamped next to the injection pump indi-
cates the thickness of the shims,
e.g. 75 = 0.75 mm.
