5. Maintenance
Only carry out maintenance work with the engine switched off.
For handling and disposal of used oil, coolant, filters and cleaning agents, comply with
the statutory regulations. Unauthorized access to the starter key must be prevented. Disconnect
the negative battery terminal. When maintenance work has been completed, check that all tools
have been removed from the engine and all protective guards fitted again.
Before starting the engine, ensure that there are no persons in the danger area close to the en-
gine or equipment.
