the cutterblade pr oper l y .Ifyoudonothaveatorque
wrenchorareuncomfortableperformingthis
procedure,contactanAuthorisedServiceDealer.
Examinethecutterbladewheneveryourunoutof
petrol.Ifthecutterbladeisdamagedorcracked,replace
itimmediately.Ifthecutterbladeedgeisdullornicked,
haveitsharpenedorreplaceit.
Thecutterbladeissharp;contactingthe
cutterbladecanresultinseriouspersonalinjury.
Weargloveswhenservicingthecutterblade.
1.Disconnectthesparkplugleadfromthesparkplug.
RefertoPreparingforMaintenance.
2.Tipthemowerontoitsside,withtheairlterup.
3.Useablockofwoodtoholdthecutterbladesteady
(Figure51).

4.Removethecutterblade,keepingallmountingparts.
5.Installthenewcutterbladeandallmountingparts.
Important:Positionthecurvedendsofthe
cutterbladetopointtowardthemowerhousing.
6.Useatorquewrenchtotightenthecutterblade
boltto60ft-lb(82N⋅ ⋅

m).
Important:Abolttorquedto60ft-lb(82N⋅ ⋅

isverytight.Whileholdingthecutterbladewith
ablockofwood,putyourweightbehindthe
ratchetorwrenchandtightentheboltsecurely.
Thisboltisverydifculttoovertighten.
