ChargingtheBattery
PREVENTACCIDENTS:ALWAYScharge
thebatteryinawellventilatedarea.
NEVERchargethebatterynearnakedames
ordirectheat.
ALWAYSswitchoffthemainselectricitysupply
beforedisconnectingthechargerfromthe
battery.
ALWAYSusethebatterychargersuppliedwith
themower.
Chargethebatteryfor24hoursinitially,thenmonthly
(every25starts)orasneeded.Alwaysusethecharger
inashelteredareaandchargethebatteryatroom
temperature(22°C)wheneverpossible.
1.Connectthechargertothemowerwireharness
locatedbelowtheignitionkey(Figure7).

2.Connectthechargerplugtothemainselectricity
supplyandchargeitfor24hours.
3.Disconnectthechargerplugfromthemains
electricitysupply.
4.Disconnectthechargerfromthemowerwire
harness.
Whenthebatterynolongerholdsacharge,recycleor
disposeofthelead-acidbatteryaccordingtolocalcodes.
Important:PREVENTENVIRONMENTAL
DAMAGE:Thebatteryandchargerhaveaseparate
collectionmark(Figure8).Thisindicatesthatfor
disposalofthebatteryandbatterychargerthey
mustbetakentoanauthoriseddisposalsite.They
