To program Skimming
1. Press Start/Stop to stop the pump.
2. Press Setting twice. The “Duration” parameter LED will blink while editing. See Figure 8.
3 Use “+” and “-” to adjust the Skimmer duration in minutes.
Note:The duration can be adjusted from 0 to 30 minutes(Setting it to 0 turns off SKIMMER).
4. Press Setting. The Cycle period will display. The “Time” parameter LED will blink while editing. See Figure 9.
Use “+” and “-” to adjust the Skimmer Cycle period in hours.

5. Press Setting. The “Speed” parameter LED will blink while editing. See Figure 10.
6. Use “+” and “-” to adjust the Skimmer speed in RPM,use the “<” and “>” move the cursor.
Note:The speed adjustment Stepping is 100/10/1rpm
Note:The speed can be adjusted from 1500 to 3000rpm
7. Press Setting. The setup for skimming program will be saved and exit.
MAINTENANCE
1. Completely disconnect the pump from the mains power supply before opening the cover and cleaning the strainer. Clean
the strainer basket regularly. Do not bang on the basket to clean it. Check the seal on the cover of the strainer and
replace it if necessary.
2. The motor shaft is mounted on self-lubricating bearings which do not require any subsequent lubrication.
3. Keep the motor clean and dry and ensure the ventilation openings are not blocked.
4. The mechanical seal occasionally starts to leak and must then be changed.
5. Apart from cleaning the pool, all repairs, servicing and maintenance must be carried out by a Hayward®-approved agent
or a qualied person.
Wear parts of the pump mentioned below should be maintained according to their estimated life:
Wear parts estimated life
Mechanical seal 2 years or 10.000 hours.
Motor bearings kit 2 years or 10.000 hours.
Set of gasket (strainer, housing, bulkheads, drain) 2 years or 25.000 hours.
Capacitor 2 years or 10.000 hours.
