    • K
      Karla BrownJul 28, 2025
There are several reasons why the Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights might not be turning on: 1. The light switch might be off. Ensure it is turned on. 2. The light bulb could be loose or burned out. Check and replace the bulb if necessary. 3. A fuse might be blown, or the circuit breaker could be off. Inspect and replace the fuse or turn on the circuit breaker. 4. The daylight turn-off feature might be active. Check the lights after dark. 5. If it's a new installation, the circuit wiring might be incorrect. Verify the circuit wiring. 6. The sensor might need to be re-aimed to cover the desired area. Re-aim the sensor.

Why do my Heath Zenith DualBrite Motion Sensor Light Control SH-5597 Home Safety Product lights stay on continuously?
    • M
      Melody JohnsonAug 2, 2025
The Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights might be staying on continuously due to: 1. A bulb being too close to the sensor or pointed at objects that cause heat to trigger the sensor. Reposition the bulb away from the sensor. 2. The sensor pointing toward a heat source like an air vent or heat-reflective surface. Reposition the sensor and reduce the RANGE. 3. The light control being in Manual Mode. Switch to Auto mode.
