How to fix Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights that won't come on?
    • B
      barajasjoshuaJul 30, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights won't turn on, several factors could be at play. First, make sure the light switch is on. If that's not the issue, check if the flood light is either loose or burned out, and secure or replace it as needed. Also, verify that a fuse hasn't blown or a circuit breaker hasn't tripped; replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. Ensure that the daylight turn-off feature isn't active by re-checking after dark. If it's a new installation, inspect the circuit wiring for any errors. Finally, try re-aiming the sensor to ensure it covers the desired area.

Why do my Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights stay on all the time?
    • H
      henrylittleAug 5, 2025
If the lights on your Heath Zenith Home Safety Product are staying on continuously, it might be due to a few reasons. Check if a flood lamp is too close to the sensor or pointed at objects that reflect heat, and if so, reposition the lamp. Also, verify that the light control isn't directed towards a heat source, such as an air vent or heat-reflective surface; if it is, reposition the sensor. Lastly, make sure the light control is not in Manual Mode; switch it to Auto.

What to do if Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights come on for no reason?
    • A
      amandashawAug 11, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights are activating for no obvious reason, it could be that the light control is detecting small animals or automobile traffic; in this case, try re-aiming the sensor. Alternatively, the sensitivity might be set too high, so try reducing it.

Why are my Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights flashing on and off?
    • K
      kimberly46Aug 17, 2025
If the lights on your Heath Zenith Home Safety Product are flashing on and off, it could be due to several reasons. Heat or light from the lamps might be triggering the light control, so try repositioning the lamps away from the sensor. Reflected heat from other objects could also be affecting the sensor, so reposition the sensor. If the light control is in Test mode, this flashing is normal during warm-up. Light leakage through the flood lamp reflectors might also be the cause, so consider replacing the lamps with new, high-quality PAR 38 lamps. Finally, the light might be in Flash Alert mode, which is normal operation.

How to stop Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights from turning on in daylight?
    • A
      Andrea CarterAug 23, 2025
If your Heath Zenith Home Safety Product lights are turning on during the day, it could be because the light control is installed in a relatively dark location, so try reinstalling it in a darker spot. It's also possible the light control is in Test mode; if so, set the control switch to an ON-TIME position.
