  There are several reasons why the lights might not be turning on. First, check if the light switch is turned on. If it is, then check the flood light to see if it’s loose or burned out and tighten or replace it. Also, check the fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or turn on the circuit breaker. If it is daytime, the daylight turn-off feature may be active, so re-check after dark. If this is a new installation, review the circuit wiring. Finally, re-aim the sensor to cover the desired area.

The flood lamp might be too close to the sensor or pointed at nearby objects that cause heat to trigger the sensor; try repositioning the lamp away from the sensor or those objects. Alternatively, the light control may be pointed toward a heat source, such as an air vent or a heat-reflective surface; in this case, reposition the sensor. Also, ensure that the light control is not in Manual Mode, switch it to Auto.

  If the lights are flashing on and off, it could be because heat or light from the lamps may be turning the light control on and off, so reposition the lamps away from the sensor. Heat being reflected from other objects may also be affecting the sensor, so reposition the sensor. If the light control is in the Test mode and warming up, understand that flashing is normal under these conditions. Also, light may be leaking through the flood lamp reflectors, so make sure the metal lamp protectors are installed.
