n. An unoccupied wheelchair can only be transported in a sufficiently spacious or specially
adapted car or on a trailer, for example. The wheelchair is not intended for transport on an
aircraft.
o. We recommend transporting the wheelchair assembled.
p. Do not lift the wheelchair by the handlebars or the bonnet during loading and handling.
There are bumpers in the rear and front of the wheelchair, which also serve as handles
(fig. 3B).
q. The wheelchair is not intended for use in a motor vehicle.
r. Do not install the additional pelvic support yourself, contact the manufacturer.
s. Additional load can only be carried in the transport baskets on the steering column, or in
the additional basket behind the seat.
t. Store the wheelchair according to the instructions given later in this manual.
u. Pay attention to the chapter Important information on electromagnetic interference (EMI).
v. The braking distance of the wheelchair on a slope can be significantly greater than on a level
surface.
w. If the wheelchair is exposed to external heat sources (e.g., sunlight), its surface temperatures
may rise.
x. There is a risk of being trapped (e.g. protrusions) when operating the wheelchair.
C Note: Riding characteristics can be set outside the specified values.
a. The seat must always be adjusted to allow a stable seating (see section Seat). Avoid
adjusting the seat or wheels in a way that could be outside safe limits.
b. Be careful not to ride to places where the emergency evacuation routes are
narrower than the total width of the wheelchair.
c. The wheelchair is made of flammable material. Do not expose it to high temperatures
or direct fire.
d. Recycle used batteries.
e. The characteristics of the wheelchair exceed the limits set out in Annex M of
the Commission Regulation (EU) on technical specifications for interoperability
relating to persons with reduced mobility.
f. You can always obtain information on safety warnings for the product and its
withdrawal from the market directly from the manufacturer (e.g., on its website).
g. The expected service life of the wheelchair is 4 years.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not turn on the power switch (key) on other place than outdoor; on the safe place for driving.
Never immerse the electric ride on machine into the water and never ride in water. Power
and propulsion components could be damaged by water or bring other potential hazards
caused by moisture.
