C Do not ride the wheelchair in bad weather (rain or snow) and avoid puddles. Water
can damage electrical components.
RIDING ON A SLOPE
CAUTION! A
Do not ride to/from slopes with an inclination of more than 12°
When riding downhill or uphill:
- always slow down
- do not turn in the opposite direction, overturning may occur.
- do not stop or park on a slope
- maintain a stable position
CROSSING OBSTACLES
Do not cross terrain obstacles (stairs, kerbs, stones) higher than 5 cm. This could damage
the wheelchair.
CAUTION! A
Railroad crossings, track rails, iron plates on road constructions and shaft covers are
extremely slippery when wet. Therefore, slow down when approaching these places
and cross them with the utmost care.
Keep in mind that braking on wet roads is much more complicated.
Go downhill slowly, as braking downhill can be exceedingly difficult.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND MINOR REPAIRS
CAUTION! A
Much of the safety and condition of the vehicle depends on how you perform
proper maintenance, regular checks, adjustment and lubrication. The content on
the following pages will help the operator to perform such steps.
If you do not have the tools or experience required for a specific task, contact an
authorized service centre.
Modifications not approved by the manufacturer may result in loss of performance,
damage to the vehicle and make its use impossible. Contact your dealer before
attempting any changes. Modifications not authorized by the manufacturer may
void the warranty.
