Inspection
1. Clean all parts in a solvent tank and dry
with compressed air prior to inspecting.
2.
Carefully inspect all critical areas for
any surface nish abnormalities: Seal
grooves, bearing grooves, thrust
surfaces, shaft surface, housing bore
and gear teeth.
Prior to assembly of actuator,
these steps must be closely
followed to insure proper
operation of the actuator.
Small or minor surface
scratches can be carefully
polished.
