Why are the Henkel Loctite pumps drawing material back down from the hose?
    • G
      Gregory HarrisAug 18, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps are drawing material back down from the hose, it could be due to several reasons: * The check valve might be stuck open. In this case, remove the check valve and either clean it or replace it. * Air may be present in the material. If air is being drawn into the pump from behind the check valve, remove the check valve and fitting in front of the pump, then reinstall with Teflon tape. If air is entering through the shaft seal area, pump tube, or shaft seal block O-ring joints, tighten the shaft seal (replace if badly worn) and replace/reinstall the O-rings. If air is entering through inlet hoses or coupler, tighten or seal as necessary.

What to do if Henkel Dispenser pumps are not discharging normal volume?
    • N
      Nicole HaneyAug 20, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps are not discharging the normal or full volume of material, several factors could be responsible: 1. **Low material level:** Ensure the reservoirs are adequately filled. Refill them and prime the pump and hoses. 2. **Air in material:** This is more common with high viscosity materials. Reload the reservoir, minimizing air entrapment. You may need to ask for technical advice. Also, check for air in the hose. 3. **Piston issues:** The piston might be worn or broken. Remove and inspect the piston, replacing it if necessary. 4. **Check valve malfunction:** The check valve may not be working correctly. Remove, clean, and reinstall the check valve.

Why is the Henkel Dispenser pump air cylinder erratic?
    • J
      Jason ElliottAug 23, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pump air cylinder is acting erratically and not finishing its stroke, it could be that the input air pressure to the machine exceeds 100 psi. To resolve this, place an air regulator in the supply line to the machine.

Why are the Henkel Dispenser pumps not cycling?
    • B
      Brandon BarberAug 26, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps are not cycling at all or are not completely cycling, this could be due to an air circuit failure. Refer to the PNEUMATIC Circuit troubleshooting section for guidance.

Why is there a patch or uncured spot in mixed material from Henkel Loctite?
    • A
      andrewbarrettAug 28, 2025
If you notice a patch or uncured spot in the mixed material from your Henkel Dispenser, it may be because the pumps are not starting together. Refer to the Pumping troubleshooting section and check the phasing.

What to do if Henkel Dispenser pumps remain in forward position?
    • W
      William KeithAug 30, 2025
If your Henkel Dispenser pumps remain in the forward position and do not return (for units including pump stroke alignment only), here's what to check: 1. **Front roller trip switch:** It may not be functioning correctly, or its position may need adjusting. Use a screwdriver to push the roller down. If the pumps return, adjust the switch roller upward. 2. **Roller trip:** If the roller trip switch has air pressure applied but does not function when checked, replace it. 3. **Four-way air cylinder directional control valve:** If the roller trip switch does not return the pumps, check the signal through to the four-way valve. If the signal is OK, the four-way valve may be faulty and require servicing or replacement.

How to fix Henkel Loctite Dispenser pump stalling?
    • A
      Allen NelsonSep 2, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps are stalling and no material is being pumped despite adequate input pressure, it could be due to: * A blocked mixer. Turn off the air supply, remove the hoses from the mixer, and check the hoses for flow. * A blocked check valve. While unlikely to be fully restricted, it's possible. Dismantle, clean, and reinstall the valve.

What to do if Henkel Dispenser pumps remain at rest?
    • D
Dr. Nicole Smith DDSSep 4, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps remain at rest in the rear position and do not move when the machine is signaled to start, check the following: * **START device:** Ensure there is input air pressure into the starting device. If there is, check that a signal comes out of the starting device when the machine is signaled to start. If not, the starting device is faulty. * **Main input air pressure or machine ON/OFF switch:** If no main input air pressure is evident on the inlet to the starting device, check the main input air switch. If this switch has air into it but does not give air out when switched, the switch is faulty.

Why is the material output of my Henkel Loctite low?
    • A
      Andrew RodriguezSep 7, 2025
If the Henkel Dispenser pumps are cycling satisfactorily but the total material output has dropped off, or one pump's output lags behind the other, it could be that one pump is metering incorrectly. Check both outputs from the hoses. If the pumps are out of phase or if one pump is not discharging a full shot of material, see the next solution.

How to fix severe leaks at Henkel Loctite pump shaft?
    • D
      Dustin SchmidtSep 9, 2025
If you observe severe leaks at the pump shaft of your Henkel Dispenser, it is likely that the pump shaft seals are worn. Remove the pump packing assembly and replace the shaft seal set.
