Maintenance
8.1.2 Display
Carefully clean the display with a damp, soft cloth.
8.1.3 Basic cleaning and preservation
If water enters into the display, it will be destroyed.
Never immerse the display in water.
Remove the display from the bicycle before
cleaning.
Crash caused by brake failure
After cleaning, servicing or repairing the bicycle, the
braking effect may be temporarily unusually weak. This
may result in a crash and injuries.
Never apply care products or oil to the brake disks
or brake pads, or the braking surfaces on the rims.
After cleaning, servicing or repair, carry out a few
test brake applications.
Water may enter into the inside of the bearings if you
use a steam jet. The lubricant inside is diluted, the
friction increases and, as a result, the bearings are
destroyed in the long term.
Never clean the bicycle with a steam jet.
Greased parts, e.g. the seat post, the handlebars or the
stem, may no longer be safely and reliably clamped.
Never apply grease or oil to the clamping areas.
