Never use a fuse with a different rating
from that specified. It may lead to
serious damage to the electrical system
or a fire due to short circuit.
Battery gives off explosive gases. Keep
sparks, flames & cigarettes away.
Do not attempt to start or ride the
motorcycle without a charged battery, it can
cause fusing of the bulbs and permanent
damage to certain electrical components.
Turn the ignition switch "OFF" before
checking or replacing the fuse to
prevent accidental short-circuiting.
CAUTION
4. Ensure the battery leads are properly
connected to the battery terminals during
installation.
2. Remove the seat (pages 14 & 15).
5. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal (2)
from the battery first, then disconnect the
positive (+) terminal (3).
6. Remove the battery (1) from the battery box.

2. Check all bolts and other fasteners are
secure.
4. Remove the battery clamp bolt (4).
3. Remove the right side cover screws
and remove the side cover.
1. Reinstall in the reverse order of removal.
Be sure to connect the positive (+)
terminal first, then the negative (-)
terminal.
1.M ake sure the ignition switch is “O FF”.
Fuse Box (1) : Location : Mounted on the
battery clamp (4).

Spare fuse (3) : 15A, 10A
Fuse Type : Blade fuse
In circuit fuse (2) : 15A, 10A
