Picture 8.1 G3 cabinet working principle
The product communicates with the main station through the 3G/4G or Wi-SUN
module on the DC (data collector) of the cabinet. Internal communication is
shown in picture 8.1.1 and followings:
Meter and DC power module: photoelectric to RS-485
DC power module and the data collector: RS485;
Data from meter to CIU is forwarded by the data collector, and PLC is used to
connect data collector and the CIU.
Remote Communication
⚫ The master station carries reading and setting related parameters, such
as alarm thresholds.
⚫ The master station carries reading data, such as meter relay status, load
profile, firmware version, and so on.
⚫ The control command carried by the master station, such as timing, reset,
relay closing and opening, etc.
⚫ Support collector related event record switch on/off.
⚫ Support collector related event reporting switch on/off.
⚫ Collector related events, such as: power failure alarm.
