Why tool bits can’t be attached or fall off from my HIKOKI DV 18DBSL Drill?
    • T
      Trevor AlexanderAug 29, 2025
If tool bits can’t be attached or fall off your HIKOKI Drill, the shape of the attachment portion may not match. The chucking diameter of the keyless chuck is 1.5 mm to 13 mm, so use a bit that falls within the stated range. If the lock of the keyless chuck is worn, contact a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center and arrange to have the old keyless chuck replaced with a new one.

      Peter LevineAug 27, 2025
If the screw head slips or comes loose when using your HIKOKI Drill, the bit number may not match the screw size; install a suitable bit. Alternatively, the bit may be worn, so replace it with a new one.

Why does the HIKOKI DV 18DBSL battery take so long to charge?
    • K
      Katie JosephAug 27, 2025
If your HIKOKI Drill battery takes a long time to charge, the temperature of the battery, the charger, or the surrounding environment may be extremely low. Try charging the battery indoors or in a warmer environment. Also, the charger’s vents might be blocked, causing its internal components to overheat, so avoid blocking the vents. If the cooling fan is not running, contact a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center for repairs.

    • M
      Michael MorrisAug 26, 2025

    • P
      petersdonaldAug 25, 2025
