3.2 Startup and Shutdown
Proper startup and shutdown procedures are crucial to expanding the life of the NVR.
3.2.1 Startup
Step:
Connect the device power supply interface and electrical socket with delivered power cable. It is HIGHLY
recommended that an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) be used in conjunction with the device. The Power
button on the front panel should be red, indicating the device is receiving the power.
If the device is shut down according to steps of 3.2.2 Shutdown, press the POWER button in front panel to start
device.
