Chapter 5 System Configuration
5.1 One-Key Configuration
Before you start one-key configuration, ensure the number of HDD meets the following
requirement.
 DS-AT1000S/160 storage system requires at least 8 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/240 storage system requires at least 12 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/300 storage system requires at least 15 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/320 storage system requires at least 16 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/360 storage system requires at least 18 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/440 storage system requires at least 22 HDDs.
 DS-AT1000S/480 storage system requires at least 24 HDDs.
Step 1 Single controller device will automatically create domain after startup.
Domain IP address: 1.1.1.1. Domain subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
Step 2 After logged into the system, the configuration wizard will pop up and the system will
automatically detect environment.
Step 3 After the three environment detections are passed, click One-Key Configuration and follow
the wizard to configure the system.
