4 Alarm Box Installation
Alarm box converts between alarm data and electronic level signals and trigger alarm
devices.
This Document gives example of alarm box installation and connection with iVMS-2000 software.
Figure 4-1 Alarm Box Components
Function Description:
Communication interface with the PC
Receive alarm input signals (High level/Low level)
Connect alarm output devices, i.e. alarm lamps,
speakers, etc
Note: In Figure 4-1, the alarm input is connected with resistor, and users can use other types of
alarm input devices such as IR or thermal sensors.
