  If your Hilti Tools fastening tool jams and doesn't extend, try the following: 1. Keep the tool pressed against the work surface for at least 30 seconds and trigger it again. 2. Lift the tool away from the surface. 3. Manually pull the fastener guide to its initial position. 4. Immediately remove the cartridge strip. 5. Let the tool cool down in a safe place under observation. 6. If the issue continues, contact Hilti Service.

  If the fastening tool jams and does not extend, keep it pressed against the work surface for at least 30 seconds and try triggering it again. If that doesn't work, lift the tool away from the working surface. You can also try to manually pull the fastener guide back to its initial position by hand. Immediately pull the cartridge strip out of the tool, and allow the tool to cool down at a safe location under observation.

  If your Hilti Tools cartridge doesn't fire when the fastening tool is above operating temperature: * Keep the tool pressed against the work surface for at least 30 seconds and trigger it again. * Wait 30 seconds, then lift the tool from the surface. * Immediately pull out the cartridge strip. * Allow the tool to cool down in a safe place under observation. * Move the cartridge to a safe location. * Dispose of unfired cartridges. * Let the tool cool and resume with a new cartridge strip. * If problems persist, contact Hilti Service.
