3.3 Possible misuse
Do not use the power tool to cut into bricks, concrete, cellular concrete, natural stone or roof tiles.
Do not use the power tool to cut fluid-retaining pipes.
3.4 Items supplied
Reciprocating saw, saw blade, operating instructions.

4 Technical data
4.1 Reciprocating saw
For rated voltage, frequency, current and input power, please refer to the country-specific type
identification plate.
If the device is powered by a generator or transformer, the generator or transformer’s power output must be
at least twice the rated input power shown on the rating plate of the device. The operating voltage of the
transformer or generator must always be within +5 % and -15 % of the rated voltage of the device.

5 Operation
5.1 Inserting the saw blade 2
Use only saw blades with a 1/2" connection end.
1. Check that the connection end of the accessory tool is clean and lightly greased.
Clean and grease the connection end, if necessary.
2. Turn the blade locking sleeve counterclockwise and hold it in this position.
3. Push the saw blade into the blade holder from the front end of the tool.
4. Release the locking sleeve and allow it to move back to its original position.
The locking sleeve engages with an audible click.
5. Grip and pull the saw blade to check that it is locked in position.
5.2 Removing the saw blade 2
1. Turn the blade locking sleeve clockwise and hold it in this position.
2. Pull the blade forward out of the blade holder.
3. Release the locking sleeve and allow it to move back to its original position.
5.3 Adjusting the contact shoe 4
When the contact shoe is adjusted correctly the length of the blade can be used optimally and access
in corners is improved. The contact shoe engages in click-stop increments of 6 mm (¹⁵/₆").
Do not adjust the contact shoe while the power tool is in operation.
