striping can be used with all storage system data management functions.
CU images, LVIs, and logical units
This section provides information about control unit images, logical volume
images, and logical units.
CU images
The storage system is configured with one control unit image for each 256
devices (one SSID for each 64 or 256 LDEVs) and supports a maximum of
255 CU images in the primary logical disk controller (LDKC).
