A series tractor can be equipped with 2 speed PTO (all models)
or with 3 speed PTO (A 104-A134) according what is specied.
The PTO speed can be read always on the performance
monitor.
1.
Rear PTO is turned on and off via rocker switch in right console.
2.
In A74 – A94 speed selection is done with external control lever
and electrically from right console in bigger models.
3.
In A104 - A134 the speed selection is done electrically from right side panel.
PTO SWITCH USE IN VALTRA A SERIES MODELS
• PTO Engaged – Push yellow lock button in front of switch.
• Disengaged – Neutral middle Position: power is cut but PTO shaft
free to rotate. Use this for machine run down and
implement attachment
• PTO Braked – Switch moved to rear. This position prevents PTO shaft rotation.
NOTE: PTO brake is not to be used to stop implement rotation!
