Faults of the hydraulic system and steering
ADVICE
These notes apply only to valve assemblies that correspond to our circuit diagrams or have
been coordinated with Hydac.
Fault Cause Remedy
Hydraulic lift or hydraulic cylinder
does not lift. No pressure build-
up recognizable (steering works
normally)
Slide in baseplate jammed by
foreign object
Remove and clean baseplate slide,
check diesel engine

. Do not
lose pressure adjustment in the
process!
Pressure setting too low Readjust pressure with pressure
gauge (180 bar), check diesel en-
gine
1)
Hydraulic lift lifting insufficiently
Insufficient oil Add specified oil type
Operating pressure is only
achieved at high engine speed
Pump defective Replace pump, check diesel en-
gine
1)
Hydraulic lift does not lift
Insufficient power, decreases af-
ter actuation

Lifting cylinder leaking

Valve leaking
