Checking hose connections for the engine air
filter
DANGER
Danger of poisoning
•
Do not put vehicle into operation
in enclosed spaces
1. Remove the hose connection to the air intake
channel (1) behind the cab.
2. Start the engine.
3. Carefully and slowly close off the hose (3)
that goes to the filter with the palm of your
hand (2). A signal tone must sound when
the opening is nearly closed off. The air intake
system is working properly.
4. Shut off the engine and again connect the
hose to the air intake channel.

Danger of accident
In case of malfunction consult your
specialist repair shop.
