Check battery and cable connections
Regularly carry out the following mainte-
nance work:
1. Check battery acid level and leaks. Observe
the battery manufacturer's information.
2. Clean corroded sections of the battery termi-
nals.
3. Grease battery terminals with non-acidic bat-
tery grease.
4. Check cables and cable connectors for a firm
fit and damage.
5. Have damaged cables and cable connectors
replaced by a specialist shop.
