Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side
shields when operating the product. Failure to do so could
result in objects being thrown into your eyes resulting in
possible serious injury. When handling the blade assembly,
wear non-slip, heavy-duty protective gloves. Wear non-
skid, protective footwear that will protect your feet and
improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
Use synthetic 2-stroke lubricant only. Do not use
automotive lubricant or 2-stroke outboard lubricant. Mix
2% synthetic 2-stroke lubricant into the petrol. This is a
50:1 ratio.
Hold and squeeze the rear handle, throttle trigger, and
throttle trigger lock. Pull the starter grip until the engine
attempts to start. Do not pull the starter grip more than
4 times.
