CURVED SHAFT GRASS DEFLECTOR WITH
EDGER GUIDE - TRIM ‘N EDGE ONLY
EDGER GUIDE ASSEMBLY
See Figure 4.
n Assemble the two plastic pieces of the edger guide
together using the short bolt, flat washer, lock washer
and wing nut.
n Slide the edger guide to adjust it to the desired trimming
length.
n Tighten the wing nut securely.

See Figures 5 - 6.
n Remove the wing nut, flat washer, lock washer, and bolt
from the Operator’s Kit.
n Place the curved shaft grass deflector over the shaft and
bracket.
n Slide the assembled edger guide over the tabs on the
grass deflector and bracket.
n Place the bolt through the slots in the tabs on the grass
deflector and trimmer.
NOTE: Ensure the slots are aligned before installing the
bolt.
n Install the flat washer, lock washer, and wing nut.
n Tighten the wing nut securely.
