SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK
Check the engine oil level with the generator on a level surface and the
engine stopped.
1.Remove the oil filler cap.
2.Check the oil level. If it is below the upper limit, fil
l with the
recommended oil to the upper limit of the oil filler neck (see page
39).
3.Reinstall the oil filler cap securely.
The Oil Alert system will automatically stop the engine before the oil
level falls below safe limits. However, to avoid the inconvenience of an
unexpected shutdown, check the oil level regularly.
