SPARK ARRESTER SERVICE
If the generator has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Allow it
to
cool before proceeding.
The spark arrester must be serviced ev
ery 100 hours to maintain its
efficiency.
1.Remove the 4 mm self-tapping screw, and remove the spark arrester
fro
m the muffler.
2.Use a brush to remove carbon deposits from the spark arrester
scr
een.
3.
Inspect the screen for breaks or tears and replace it if necessary.
4.Install the spark arrester in the reverse order of removal.
