1. REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
 CAUTION
The engine and muffler become very hot during
operation, and they remain hot for a while after operation.
A hot engine or muffler can bun you.
Be sure that the engine is cold before muffler
removal/installation.

6 x 23 mm BOLT (3)
MUFFLER
MUFFLER GASKET
[optional part]
MUFFLER PROTECTOR
6 x 79 mm BOLT (CT bolt*) (2)
4 x 6 mm SCREW
[optional part]
· Use a plastic hammer to loosen carbon deposits
from the muffler, and then remove carbon deposits
from muffler.
· If the seal flange is dented or damaged, replace the
muffler.
· Check the cylinder barrel exhaust port for damage.
· Do not tap on the muffler seal flange and do not
damage this part.

INSTALLATION:
Install after removing the carbon from the
screen with a wire brush.
Inspect for tears or damage.
