3. FAN COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the top cover (P. 7 -2 ), and then reinstall the fuel tank cap to prevent dirt or debris from entering the fuel tank.
The recoil starter assembly does not need to be removed to remove the fan cover.
Reassembly is the reverse order of removal.
