3.6 Operating The Scanner
When operated, the scanning camera stays active until the barcode has
successfully been decoded or the scanning key is released. To newly activate
it, please press one of the scanning keys again.
It has been tried and tested to place the MDE device for scanning in an angle
of 35-90° and with a gap of 15 - 30 cm over the barcode. The red bar shows
the scanning area. Place it on the barcode to be scanned.

Hold the device with the attached
order book rail with a gap of 10 - 20
centimetres over the object to be
scanned.
