4. Wash air filter(s) in a solution of household soap and
warm water.
5. Rinse parts thoroughly with water.
6. Using a clean, absorbent cloth, squeeze air filter ele-
ment dry, being careful not to twist or tear the filter.
7. Coat air filter in clean engine oil.
8. Squeeze out excess oil.
NOTE:
Engine will smoke during initial start-up if too much oil is
left in filter.
9. Reinstall air filter.
NOTE:
For models with two foam air filters, install the light grey
filter first and then the dark grey filter.
10. Reinstall the air cleaner cover and lock the latches at
the top and bottom.

Frequent or prolonged contact with engine oil may cause
skin cancer.
Thoroughly wash hands and any areas of skin exposed
to used oil with soap and water.
