  If your Honeywell Portable Generator's engine won't start or runs roughly, several factors could be the cause. Ensure you have enough fuel; if the fuel is old, drain the tank and refill it with fresh fuel. Check the engine oil level and add oil if needed. Make sure the spark plug wire is securely connected to the spark plug. Inspect the spark plug for faults and replace if necessary. Also, check if fuel is reaching the carburetor and clean the fuel sediment cup if needed. A dirty air filter or spark arrestor screen can also cause these issues, so clean or replace them as necessary.

If the master circuit breaker is tripped, reduce the load on the Twist-Lock outlet. If a duplex outlet breaker is tripped, reduce the load on the duplex outlet, wait for the breaker to cool, and then reset it. Also, inspect the cord connection and replace it if defective. Finally, the connected appliance might be defective; in this case, disconnect it and have it serviced by a qualified repair facility.
