5 Placement
Place the bottom of your
detector flat on the floor or a
surface.
For wall mounting, use the
included fixing kit (screw and
wall plug) and hang the
detector from the mounting
keyhole using the bottom cover.
If you expect a flood in the area
where you install your leak
detector that could submerge
the unit, consider hanging it on the wall (with provided
screw and wall plug), and using the included 1.2 m cable
sensor for water detection. To cover an even larger area,
purchase additional cable sensors.
Optional cable sensor
To install the optional cable sensor, remove the sensor
jack plug and insert the cable sensor. Insert the sensor
jack plug at the end the cable sensor.
Additional cable sensors (sold separately) can be
connected to extend the cable and increase water
sensing area.
The entire length of cable is an extended sensor. You
can hang the detector from the wall or place both the
detector and cable sensor on the floor.
