  If your Honeywell Thermostat setting and thermometer reading disagree, reinstall the thermostat wallplate or subbase using a spirit level to ensure it's level. The thermostat should be about 5 ft [1.5m] above the floor on an inside wall. For change of location contact a qualified service technician.
