  If the 'Cool On' indicator is not displayed on your Honeywell Thermostat, ensure that the system setting is set to Cool and that the temperature setting is below the current room temperature.

  If your heating equipment continues to run even when the heat temperature setting on your Honeywell Thermostat is set below room temperature (and 'Heat On' is not displayed), it's likely that the System Type (Installer Setup Number 0170) is incorrectly set to Heat Pump when it's not a heat pump system. Set the System Type to match the installed heating and/or cooling equipment.

  If you're unable to set the system setting to Heat on your Honeywell Thermostat, the System Type (Installer Setup Number 0170) might be set to Cool Only. Set the System Type to match your installed heating and/or cooling equipment.

  If “Screen Locked” appears on your Honeywell Thermostat and some or all keys are unresponsive, the keypad is likely locked. Check Installer Setup Number 0670 to adjust the keypad lock options.

  If 'Wait' is displayed on your Honeywell Thermostat, the compressor minimum off timer is active. Allow up to five minutes for the cooling or heating (heat pump) equipment to activate.

  If the red light is on your Honeywell Thermostat, it could mean the thermostat is in Emergency Heat mode. If it is not in Emergency Heat mode, check the message displayed on the thermostat screen for more information.
