 • Ifyoudonothavearamp,werecommendthatyouliftthemachineatalltimeswithtwopeople
inandoutofavehicle.Putthermlylockedhandleintoaloweredposition.Makesurethatthe
machine base rests on a pad, so that the Velcro surface of the driver plate does not get damaged
orhookedontoacarpetedsurface.Gripthemachinefromeachsideasitisshowningure23.
Whenliftingthemachineinoroutofthevehicle,setthewheelsdownrstandthenthemachine
base.

IMPORTANTSAFETYINSTRUCTION:
Make sure not to grip too close to the machine base – if the base should flip upwards it can cause serious
hand injuries.

Makesureyouliftthemachinewithaback-friendlyposture.
 • Tosavespace,removethestar-shapedscrewcapsandfolddownthehandleandplacetheframe
in an upright position.
 • ToeliminatetheORBOTfromrollingorslidingduringtransport,lowertheframeasfardownas
possible until it touches the wheels (Fig. 26). The frame acts as a brake, preventing uncontrolled
movements.Thisformoftransportationrequiressufcientspaceinavehicle.
