Examine and replace the cable. If the link LED still doesn't display, check if the port is transferring data. If it is, the LED is faulty; if not, the SFP+ module might be faulty, and you should call a service representative. Also, the pass-thru module uplink and downlink connections must be active before the LED illuminates; the console will display messages if the uplink (SFP+ module) is working but the corresponding downlink cannot be established.
