What to do if no link LED appears on HP 10GbE Pass-Thru Module Control Unit?

If no link LED appears on your HP Control Unit after plugging in the cable, first ensure the cable is properly plugged in and seated at both ends. If the issue persists, the cable or connector heads may be faulty; try replacing the cable with a tested one. Additionally, the SFP+ module on the pass-thru module or the LED itself could be faulty. Examine and replace the cable. If the link LED still doesn't display, check if the port is transferring data. If it is, the LED is faulty; if not, the SFP+ module might be faulty, and you should call a service representative. Also, the pass-thru module uplink and downlink connections must be active before the LED illuminates; the console will display messages if the uplink (SFP+ module) is working but the corresponding downlink cannot be established.
