HP Management Module (AF401A)
The HP UPS Management Module enables you to monitor, manage, and control power environments of
up to five devices through the serial connectors located on the front of the management module (local
direct connection) and more remote devices over the network connection. The management module can
be configured to send alert traps to HP Systems Insight Manager and other SNMP management
programs or used as a stand-alone management system.
Monitor the status of the UPS and manage a graceful shutdown of attached equipments during a utility
power failure.

Provide access to multiple users
Include a web interface management software that can be accessed with a web browser
Include a Service Menu, a text-based menu that can be accessed through telnet or hyperterminal
emulation session
Use HP Management Module Software version 2.0 or higher.
