Cleaning
Disconnect
the
3468A
from
its
ac
power
source
before
cleaning.
The
multimeter
can
be
cleaned
with
a
soft
cloth
dampened
either
in
clean
water
or
in
water
con-
taining
a
mild
detergent.
Do
not
use
an
excessively
wet
cloth,
or
allow
water
in-
side
the
instrument.
Do
not
use
any
abrasive
cleaners,
especially
on
the
display.
Do
not
press
too
hard
on
the
display.
The
panel
area
surrounding
the
input
ter-
minals
should
not
be
touched
because
oils
on
the
surface
caused
by
finger
prints
may
cause
leakage
paths
and
decrease
the
input
impedance.
To
maintain
the
high
input
impedance
of
the
multimeter,
the
input
terminal
area
should
be
cleaned
periodically
with
a
cotton
swab
dipped
in
isopropyl
alcohol.
