Reverse this procedure to install the battery.
Speakers
To remove the speakers, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the top cover/keyboard (see Top cover/keyboard on page 29).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the speakers:
1. Disconnect the speaker cable (1) from the system board.
2. Release the speaker cable (2) from the retention channel/retention clips built into the bottom cover.
3. Remove the three Phillips M2.0×4.1 screws (3) that secure the speakers to the bottom cover.
4. Remove the speakers (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the speakers.
