4. When installing a system board, make sure the thermal pad is installed as shown in the following
illustration.
Reverse this procedure to install the system board.
Power connector (DC in) cable
To remove the power connector cable, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 26).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 28).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 34).
Remove the power connector cable:
▲ Disconnect the power connector cable from the system board.
