7. Slide the drive access panel toward the outside of the computer to release it and lift the access
panel off the computer.
NOTE: For easy removal, grasp the drive access panel next to the opening where the center
access panel was removed (1) when sliding it off the computer (2).

1. Place the computer face down on a soft flat surface. HP recommends that you set down a blanket,
towel, or other soft cloth to protect the screen surface from scratches or other damage.
