HP ProtectTools Embedded Security
The HP ProtectTools Security Manager is the software that allows
you to configure settings for the HP ProtectTools Embedded Security.
The Manager is an interface (shell) that points to the various options
available in the Embedded Security software. HP ProtectTools
Embedded Security is the software suite that includes the Personal
Secure Drive (PSD), encryption/TPM chip interface, security
migration, archive creation, and password control.
Requirements
In order to use the security features, the following tools are required:
■ HP ProtectTools Embedded Security software
■ HP ProtectTools Security Manager software
■ HP ProtectTools Embedded Security chip installed on the
computer
