System Error Codes
• Replace the Drop Detector ⇒ Page 377.
• If the System Error continues,
replace the Interconnect PCA ⇒ Page 435.
• R eplace the Sausalito PCI PCA ⇒ Page 444.
SE Code: 53:10 - Problem with the Media sensor
Problem Description:
An error has been detected with the Media sensor.
Corrective Action:
• Check that the Media Sensor cable is not damaged and is connected correctly to the Interconnect
PCA
.
• Perform the Substrate Path Sensor service test ⇒ Page 138.
• Replace the Media Sensor ⇒ Page 555.
SE Code: 54:10 - Problem with the Media lever sensor
Problem Description:
Pinch Lever sensor error detected.
Corrective Action:
• Check that the Media Lever Sensor cable is not damaged and is correctly connected to the
Interconnect PCA
.
• Replace the Media Lever Sensor ⇒ Page 563.
SE Code: 55:10 - Problem with the Line Sensor
Problem Description:
An error has been detected with the Line Sensor.
Corrective Action:
• Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the
power cord and power On the Printer.
• Perform the Line Sensor service test ⇒ Page 162.
• Replace the Line Sensor ⇒ Page 486.
• If the System Error continues,
replace the Carriage PCA ⇒ Page 402 .
SE Code: 56:10 - Analog encoder calibration has failed
Problem Description:
Analog Encoder calibration failed. There is a problem with the Drive Roller Encoder/sensor
Corrective Action:
• Replace the Encoder Disc and Sensor ⇒ Page 557.
