If there is an error with the Media Jam sensor, the system error 82:01 is display ⇒ page 114.
19. If the test passes OK the following message is displayed on the Front Panel, press any key to finish.
3.4 Vacuum
Description
The purpose of this test is to verify the operation of the Vacuum Fans, to check that they are connected
and working.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic test>3. Substrate Path Menu>3.4 Vacuum.
2. The printer asks you to confirm that you want to perform the Vacuum Diagnostic test, select Yes.
3. The printer tests various electrical subsystems and the Vacuum fans.
4. If the Vacuum fans are functioning correctly the following is display.
5. Press and key to finish the test.
3.5 OMAS diagnostic
Description
The objective of this test is to check the communication of the OMAS system. OMAS controller PCA, the
CAN BUS, the OMAS flat cable and the OMAS sensor.
Procedure
1. Go to Diagnostic test>3. Substrate Path Menu>3.5 OMAS Diagnostic.
